Germany is one of the largest and most diverse countries in Europe in terms of landscape. You can visit both seaside beaches and Alpine peaks here. German cities delight with their monuments, and outside them you can find many interesting castles, churches and palaces.

One of the most visited places in Germany is the capital city of Berlin. The city boasts one of the most valuable museum complexes in Europe. Among other urban centers, Dresden with magnificent museums and a set of baroque buildings, Heidelberg, which has survived the Old Town, Cologne unspoiled during World War II, which is dominated by a powerful Gothic cathedral, Magdeburg with numerous Gothic and Romanesque churches and Potsdam, where there is one of the most famous palace and park complex in Europe Sanssouci.

Bavaria, located in the southern part of the country, is very popular among tourists. The region includes part of the Alps, with numerous ski resorts, hiking trails and viewpoints. Bavaria is also famous for its beer and rich folklore, and the local capital Munich is a city with interesting monuments and valuable museums. The region also includes beautiful Baroque pilgrimage churches and castles, including the most famous fairytale Neuschwanstein.

Germany is a country with known amusement parks. The most popular of them is Europa-Park near Rust visited by over 5 million tourists each year. The huge Tropical Island water park near Cottbus is also very popular.
