Gasometer

The former gas tank, built in the 1920s, is now the highest exhibition hall in Europe. The building is about 117 m high and houses regularly changed exhibitions of works of art. At its top there is a viewing platform, from where there is a panorama of the Ruhr Area. It can be accessed by a glass elevator.
