Famous pilgrimage site and one of the most beautiful baroque churches of the Rhineland. It was built in the first half of the 17th century as an extension to an earlier Gothic temple. There are known "holy stairs" decorated with baroque sculptures and paintings. They lead to the chapel of the Holy Cross.
