The zoo was founded in 1860. About 7,000 animals of 700 species live in it. The garden's activity is focused primarily on primates and saving the most endangered species. The main attractions are the apes, the hall with reconstructed conditions in the tropical forest, the Asian elephant park as well as the dolphinarium and aquarium.
