Käppele Sanctuary

Late Baroque pilgrimage church located on one of the hills above Würzburg. It was founded in the 18th century. It was designed by the salty architect Balthasar Neumann. Behind the two-tower facade is a richly decorated interior covered with a dome. they are decorated with illusionist paintings and stucco decorations. The Pieta figurine from the 17th century is kept in the side chapel. The Way of the Cross leads to the church.
