Local name: Kloster Benediktbeuern
Former Benedictine monastery, now Salesian, dating back to the 8th century. It is a Romanesque building, heavily rebuilt in the 18th century. The rich, baroque decorations inside the church come from this time. The church, courtyard and some of the historic common rooms, such as the library or refectory, are available to tourists.
