Franz Marc Museum

A museum presenting the works of the German expressionist Franz Marc, who lived at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. The artist died during World War I near Verdun when he was only 36 years old. The permanent exhibition of the museum presents the largest collection of his paintings in Germany and the works of his contemporaries.
