Leipzig Zoo

One of the largest and oldest zoos in Germany. It was founded at the end of the 19th century. Modern runs and pavilions are adjacent to the historic buildings. There is the world's largest ape farm in which apes are bred. In the hills, the landscapes of African savanna and Siberian taiga were recreated. The underwater world can be admired in the century-old aquarium.
