The cave is located 55 m above the bottom of the Altmühl valley. It measures 420 m and is one of the longest caves in the valley. It has the status of a reserve, nature monument and protected geotope. You can only visit it with a guide. A multimedia show using the amazing acoustics of the cave is organized in the spring in the main hall.
