“Floating meadows”, which are under reserve protection, are a great attraction for naturalists and seekers of natural beauty. Established in 1880 as a result of damming up the local stream waters, they still move along the surface of the water reservoir. The 9 km long hiking trail makes exploring the Kleiner Abersee area easier.
