Museum of Natural History

The museum's collection began with the collection of the cabinet of curiosities of Margrave Karoline Luise von Hessen-Darmstadt, which was placed in a specially erected building in 1874. Currently, the museum has thousands of exhibits, including in the field of botany, zoology, entomology and paleontology. Aquariums and terrariums with live animals complete the exhibition.
