Ice Chapel

The naturally made ice cave (often called a chapel) is not fixed in size - its size changes every year and depends on the air temperature in the summer months. Ice cream is created in masses of snow that slide down from the walls of the Watzmann massif, and then are eroded by water from melting snow and ice.
