Luisa Park was founded at the turn of the 20th century for the daughter of Emperor Wilhelm I - Luisa von Baden. The park covers over 42 hectares, including a lake with an area of 4 hectares, on which you can swim a gondola, a Chinese garden with a Chinese pavilion, where you can take part in the traditional tea ritual, arboretum, palm house and amphitheater. A large playground has been prepared for the youngest.
In Luisa Park you can also find pink flamingos stealing sandwiches for tourists and trained carp swimming in the lake.
There are 140 species of trees, 85 types of shrubs and over 350 varieties of flowers and other green plants in the park. In the park you can enjoy different compositions in the summer and different in the spring, but their flowering is planned in such a way that they always bloom in the same period.
