Międzyzdroje is one of the most important resorts and holiday resorts of the Polish coast. They are located on the Wolin Island, in the vicinity of the Wolin National Park, and offer tourists not only beautiful, sandy beaches, but also many opportunities for spending free time.
For many years Międzyzdroje has been considered a resort for artists and actors. The Festival of Stars is held here every year during the summer holidays. The tangible souvenir that remains after him is the Promenade of Stars with the prints of the hands of the filmmakers.
The landscape around Międzyzdroje is very diverse. There are the highest cliffs in Poland, protected within the limits of the Wolin National Park. The most famous of them are on Góra Gosań and Kawcza Góra. Both are covered by hiking trails, they can also be admired from the Molo in Międzyzdroje and during excursions on tourist ships.
At the foot of the cliffs, there is a sandy beach in Międzyzdroje. A promenade runs along it, at the end of which is the Molo in Międzyzdroje with numerous shops and restaurants, as well as a berth for cruise ships. The pier and promenade as well as the beach are great places to admire the sunset.
The Wolin National Park is based in Międzyzdroje. There is also the Natural History Museum of the Wolin National Park, and a short distance from the city, a demonstration bison farm. Several hiking trails lead through the park, allowing you to get to know its natural and landscape values.
Międzyzdroje also offers attractions for families with children. Among the most important are the Baltic Miniature Park, the Wax Figures Room, the Planetarium and the World of Illusions Museum.
