Kikut lighthouse
Local name: Latarnia morska Kikut
Is one of seven lighthouses located in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship. It is relatively low, however, due to the fact that it was built on a high hill (73.9 m above sea level), the source of its light is the highest located on the West Coast. Inside, it was fully automated, so it was not made available to visitors.
Originally served as an observation tower. Due to ships having trouble determining precise positions, it was decided to rebuild it into a lighthouse. The building was raised, and a laternia was placed on top. The lower part of the building consists of hewn stones, while the upper part was constructed using brick. The lighthouse rises 91.5 meters above water level.
