Żebbuġ is a small tourist town situated on the Marsalforn Bay on Gozo. It has a nicely preserved Old Town and access to sand and shingle beaches with good facilities, making it one of the most popular vacation spots on the island.
The old town of Żebbuġ is far from the coast, and Marsalforn is the main tourist center. There is a Promenade and a small harbor on the Marsalforn beach. There is no shortage of restaurants, bars and shops in the area. Qbajjar Beach is calmer, and due to its deep, clean water, it is very suitable for diving. A very interesting place in this part of the coast are also natural brine pools located by the sea.
Diving enthusiasts also have another great attraction nearby, the Billingshurst Grotto, to which an underwater tunnel leads. Divers and lovers of secluded relaxation can also choose the Ghasri Valley sunbathing, which can only be accessed from the sea.
A walk around the old part of Żebbuġ allows you to get to know the history of the village. You can see many historic houses here, and the expansion of the town is witnessed by the Church of the Assumption of Our Lady, gradually enlarged from the sixteenth to the twentieth century. Malta and Gozo.
