Blue Grotto

One of Malta's most famous tourist attractions. The grotto is part of a system of several coastal caves in the bay of Wied that-Zurrieq, which can only be reached from the sea. Thanks to the very clean water, the sun's rays falling into the cave are reflected from the sandy bottom and give it different shades of blue, depending on how deep it is in a given place.
