Reqqa Point is the northernmost tip of Sicily, the island of Gozo. It is valued as a destination for hiking trips, combined with climbing elements. The large salines are also a tourist attraction. Regga Point is the most popular among diving enthusiasts. The vertically sloping bay wall is a habitat for many species of fish and crustaceans, which are one of the major attractions of underwater expeditions.
At Regga Point, the bottom is located at a depth of about 25 m, is covered with white sand, which together with transparent water provides excellent visibility. Divers are accompanied by thousands of small fish, among which you can find larger predators, e.g. moray eels. There are also lobsters, many species of snails and shrimps, whose favorite habitat is one of the small caves, called Shrimp Cave.
Reqqa Point is the destination of experienced divers who come here to explore the neighboring Billingshurst Cavern - a 60-meter-long cave in which diving takes place in almost total darkness.
