Krásno is a village situated in the picturesque surroundings of the Sławkowski Forest. The area is known for its many hiking trails, which are often used by patients from nearby famous resorts such as Karlovy Vary or Marianske Lazne.
The village is situated in the famous Czech spa triangle Karlovy Vary - Marianske Lazne - Frantiskovy Lazne. However, it is not a health resort itself, and its surroundings are a perfect place for active tourism.
In the interwar period, the Krásno Lookout Tower was built on one of the hills above Krásno, the appearance of which resembled the Bible Tower of Babel. To this day, it remains the greatest attraction of the area. You can reach the top via an external spiral staircase that surrounds the entire building.
