Mill Colonnade
Local name: Mlýnská kolonáda
The Mill Colonnade in Karlovy Vary is the largest of five buildings of this type in the city. The colonnade balustrade is decorated with 12 statues, these are allegories 12 months. Each source has its name, they are: the Mill, Rock, Prince Wenceslas, Rusalka and Libusz sources. It was entered in the register of monuments.
It was built in the second half of the 19th century in the Neo-Renaissance style. There are five sources here with a temperature of over 50 degrees Celsius. Their waters are bottled and exported to countries around the world.
