Totland is a small resort town on the Isle of Wight, whose main attraction is the nearby rock formations called The Needles. There is also a sandy beach, and the calm atmosphere is perfect for relaxation.

There are sandy, quite narrow beaches in the village that fill up with holidaymakers in the summer. Numerous sailing boats and small yachts are also moored here, and the local port offers tourists a wide selection of restaurants and bars.

Totland's biggest attraction is the rocks protruding from the sea next to the westernmost tip of the Isle of Wight. The Needles, with a tiny lighthouse at their end, can be admired from the deck of a cruise ship, from the rock-top viewing platform and from The Needles chairlift. On the rocks on the bank of the Wight, there is The Needle artillery battery, consisting of an old battery from the beginning of the 19th century and a new battery built in 1895. Currently, former military facilities are open to the public.
