Monkey World

Monkey World is a center whose goal is to rescue and care for monkeys. It was founded by the marriage of Jim and Alison Cronin. Above all, animals taken from poachers or kept in inhuman conditions go to the center. Currently, it includes chimpanzees, lemurs, gorillas and orangutans. The resort can be visited both individually and in groups. The facility's offer also includes organization of events, e.g. birthdays or even weddings.

The documentary series "Monkey Life" is filmed on the basis of everyday life in the center. The series has been created continuously since 2006, individual seasons are also available on DVD. The facility also appeared in other productions such as "Monkey Business", "Animal Hospital" and "Nature Watch".

Jim and Alison Cronin were honored by Queen Elizabeth II with the Orders of the British Empire for their animal rescue activities.
