Lukov is a town with a history dating back to the 13th century. There are castle ruins and a classical church here. Due to its location in the vicinity of low, but picturesque hills, it is a good base for hiking in the area.

The town was founded at the beginning of the 13th century and belonged to the nearby castle. It was owned by the Sternbergs and served as a defense until the 17th century. Destroyed and rebuilt many times in the 18th century, it was finally abandoned and fell into ruin.

The ruins of Lukov Castle are the biggest attraction of the area. Part of the defensive walls and the romanesque tower have been preserved. In the foreground of the walls, you can see the remains of earth fortifications from the Thirty Years' War in the 17th century.

In the village there is also the classical church of St. Joseph and the historic rectory building. There are many hiking and cycling routes in the vicinity of the village.
