Golem is a small town on the northern coast of Albania, near Durres. Currently, it is primarily a popular seaside resort with wide, sandy beaches.
The village consists of contemporary buildings, in which hotels, apartment buildings and guesthouses predominate. Between them, on the streets, you can find plenty of restaurants and bars as well as souvenir shops.
The biggest attraction of the village is a wide, sandy and very well developed beach. Large fragments of it are covered with deckchairs and umbrellas for rent, but there are also several fragments where you can sunbathe with your own equipment. In the season there are bars that organize discos and water equipment rentals in the evening.
