Serrara Fontana is a resort town in Ischia made up of several smaller settlements both on the coast and inland. It is characterized by great landscape diversity, and individual settlements differ significantly in terms of tourism development. Its advantage is the coast full of coves and rocky headlands with numerous, often small beaches.

Most of the settlements included in Serrara Fontana have the character of intimate resorts, with nice beaches. Some of them are sandy and developed, others are located in coves surrounded by rocks and have a very secluded nature. The most famous of these beaches is Cava Grado Beach.

Sant 'Angelo, situated on the rocky Sant' Angelo Peninsula and its vicinity, is considered the most beautiful of the local settlements. There is a sandy Sant 'Angelo Beach and a picturesque fishing port. The village is the only one to keep its traditional, fishing character. The entertainment life of the village revolves around Piazzale Sant 'Angelo, where there is no shortage of fish and seafood restaurants and cafes.

Thanks to its diversity, Serrara Fontana attracts both lovers of lazy relaxation by the water, as well as people who like active tourism and sightseeing. There are many viewpoints here, such as the Serrara viewpoint, Frasitelli or the panoramic viewpoint of Maronti. The highest peak in the area, Mount Epomeo, rises above the buildings and is a popular hiking destination. However, it should be remembered that in summer, in open space, such a trip is very tiring due to the heat.
