Nepi is a city known all over Italy for its mined and bottled mineral waters that can be bought all over the country. In its center, a lot of historic buildings have been preserved, including the monumental Borgia Castle.

The settlement of Nepia already existed in Etruscan times. the local catacombs come from the 9th century BC, and the remains of Roman temples were used to build medieval churches.
