Wackersberg is a small holiday village in the Alps. It is a good place for a quiet break away from civilization, and the surrounding trails allow you to organize your hikes.
The town has traditional buildings with a Gothic church, the interior of which is decorated with baroque decorations and houses covered with tiles. Many of them have wooden floors and attics as well as flowery balconies. Above the village there are forested slopes of the mountains, and in the perspective there are also higher alpine peaks.
A local attraction is the Bad Tölz cable car and the Blomberg Blitz summer toboggan run, which are among the longest such facilities in Europe. In Bad Tolz, you can additionally take advantage of the thermal bath and relaxing treatments at the local spa.
