SUCHÝ DŮL tourist attractions

+1 attraction

Suchý Důl is a small village at the foot of the Broumovské Sten in the Czech part of the Table Mountains. It is a good base for hiking tours through picturesque areas with numerous rock outcrops.

In the village, which has existed since medieval times, a lot of traditional Sudeten buildings have been preserved in the form of half-timbered houses with high gables and sloping roofs. Many of them currently operate guesthouses and agritourism farms.

Around the village of Suchý Důl there is the Broumovsko Protected Landscape Area, which is the greatest attraction of the area. There are numerous rock labyrinths, ravines, rock outcrops, such as the Vulture's Nest or the rock theater, to which hiking trails lead. The rocks are hidden among forests that enhance the picturesque landscape.
