MĚSTO ALBRECHTICE tourist attractions

+1 attraction

Město Albrechtice is a small center near the Czech-Polish border. Some of the old buildings have been preserved here, mostly from the 18th and 19th centuries. The area is a good place for active recreation due to the topography and many hiking trails.

The town has existed since the 14th century and has been associated with the castle there for centuries. Today there are no traces of it, except for partially ruined farm buildings and a brewery. On the outskirts, however, you can see a nineteenth-century classicist palace, which belonged to the merchants Wicenty Tlach and Wincenty Keil. Currently, it is converted into a residential building.

The surroundings of Město Albrechtice are mountainous and partly covered with forests. There are many hiking and biking trails there. The most popular blue trail leads to the Hranicni vrch lookout tower. It is a metal structure consisting of two platforms connected by a footbridge, from which you can admire the view of the Czech and Polish side of the border.
