Dallenwil is an alpine holiday destination, and in winter also an intimate ski resort. The surrounding picturesque mountain terrain is perfect for walks and long trips, and the village also has an offer for families with children.

The history of Dallenwil goes back to medieval times. Many traditional alpine-style houses have survived to this day. The main monument is the Church of St. Lawrence with partially preserved polychromy from the 17th century. On the hill above the village stands the Wiesenberg pilgrimage chapel, which is a popular destination for excursions.

The small Wirzweli ski area is located in Dallenwil and can be reached via the Dallenwil-Wirzweli cable car. It offers several kilometers of downhill runs, mostly easy and medium difficulty. In summer, the resort has an artificial toboggan run and a witch village, a family amusement park. There is also the Owl Trail in Wirzwela, which allows you to learn about the life of these birds.
