The Zurich Art Museum (Kunsthaus) presents a rich collection of works from the Middle Ages to modern times. The most valuable exhibits include the works of Edvard Munch (the second largest collection of works in the world), Salvador Dali, Pablo Picasso and Andy Warhol. The Swiss art is represented by the painter and sculptor - Alberto Giacometti.
There is also a collection of late Gothic and Baroque masters, the museum boasts one of the largest collections of Renaissance painting.
In addition to paintings and sculptures, the museum exhibition also includes graphics and drawings, photographs and contemporary artistic installations.
The building, which is the seat of the museum, was designed by two architects: Karl Moser and Robert Curjel. The facade is decorated with original reliefs by Oskar Kiefer.
