Rewal is a holiday village and a Baltic Sea bathing resort, picturesquely situated on a cliff above a sandy beach. It is visited primarily in summer and is a popular family holiday destination.
In the mid-nineteenth century, Rewal changed from a small, traditional fishing village into a fashionable Baltic resort with several bathing places and a developing accommodation base. Tourist traffic increased significantly after the narrow-gauge railway line from Gryfice was launched, thanks to which summer tourists could reach here, among others. from Berlin.
Today's Rewal is a place located on a cliff, with low-rise buildings, largely consisting of guesthouses, holiday homes and centers of houses for rent. The most important attraction of Rewal is the sandy beach with a guarded bathing area over 300 meters long.
Above the beach there is a promenade with a viewing platform from which you can admire the sunsets. There are also numerous bars, pubs and souvenir shops on the promenade. Walkers can also go to the Whale Park, and people who like to spend time actively, rent a bike or water equipment.
