"Ujście" fort and lighthouse

The lighthouse standing in the circle of the former bastion walls is a trademark of Kołobrzeg. At the lowest level of the lighthouse, in the former ammunition depot there is the Museum of Minerals. The collection includes several hundred specimens, including precious stones collected from various places around the world. The middle storey was converted into a cafe.

Particularly noteworthy is the well with drinking water that is still active today, which is located in the fort. The last floor is crowned with the mechanism of the lighthouse, the light of which is visible from a distance of 16 nautical miles. In the past, there was a terrace covered with an earth cap, which served as a bullet trap.
