Kołobrzeg Pier

Local name: Molo w Kołobrzegu

The solid reinforced concrete structure is over two hundred meters long and over nine meters wide. It is undoubtedly one of the biggest attractions of Kołobrzeg. The promenade can accommodate many walkers. At its end there is a warhead, at which small cruise ships moor taking tourists for trips on the sea.

At night the pier is illuminated. Several thousand LED lamps were installed along its entire length. Illuminations are a great variety to an evening walk and a great attraction of this place.

The first bridge in this place was built at the end of the nineteenth century and was half as short and made of wood. The modern pier has existed since the 1970s. In 2014, it was thoroughly renovated.
