Ängelholm is a coastal town with access to a sandy beach. It is known among sports enthusiasts for its excellent conditions for sailing and windsurfing.
The city was founded in the 16th century and the Late Gothic Church of Ängelholm comes from this period. From the beginning of its existence, the city was a center of ceramics production. The most characteristic of the local products are clay ocarins, called cuckoos. Today, there is only one plant that cultivates the tradition of their production, and until recently an ocarin orchestra operated here.
Today Ängelholm is a popular holiday resort. The local sandy beach located by the bay is over 6 km long. On the waters of the bay, thanks to favorable and fairly strong winds, you can go sailing and windsurfing. Tourists coming to Ängelholm can also take advantage of other attractions such as the Upzone amusement park and mini golf. There are also many cycling and walking paths in the area. The Railway Museum is also eagerly visited.
