Domanín is a village that owes its visitors mainly to the tomb chapel of the Schwarzenberg family located here.
In the Middle Ages, this area belonged to the Augustinian monastery in the neighboring Trebon. There were ponds here at that time, and communication with the neighboring town was via a wooden bridge.
At the end of the 14th century, a gothic church was built in the village, which later received rich sgraffito decorations. Its interior is covered with polychromes from the Baroque period. From 1784 to 1876, representatives of the Schwarzenberg family were buried in the church.
In 1875, a separate Neo-Gothic Schwarzenberg Tomb was built, which is today Domanin's most important attraction. it is a polygonal building with a staircase and the chapel of the Divine Redeemer. Apart from the tombs, there is also a neo-Gothic altar.
