Trail in Tree Tops

"The path in the treetops" near the town of Lipno nad Vltavou is a huge wooden structure that allows you to admire Šumava from an unusual perspective. Its length is 675 meters, the central place is occupied by a 40-meter observation tower, around which an attraction for the brave was installed - the longest gravitational slide in the Czech Republic.

The path was opened in 2002. It not only provides great views, tourists during the walk will also gain knowledge about nature protection and the principles that govern the forest ecosystem. Large information boards as well as interesting boards with riddles and tasks for children were placed next to the barriers.

From the observation tower you can see the nearest area, including the waters of the Liptovský reservoir and the greenery of Šumava, and in good weather also the peaks of the Alps. The path is adapted to the needs of people with disabilities.
