Salvan is a mountain resort town and a popular ski resort in winter. There are approx. 30 km of ski slopes, as well as freeride tracks, toboggan runs and good apres-ski facilities.

Lying in the Alps and surrounded by the mountains, Salvan offers numerous attractions both in summer and winter. It is a good place for active tourism, as well as for a family vacation. The area is known for its beautiful walking and hiking routes, and in the ski resort of Les Marécottes, you can take advantage of excellent conditions for winter sports.

Due to its location, Salvan enjoys great snow conditions in winter. It is not necessary to cover the slopes with artificial snow, which is appreciated by skiers, including freeriders. Almost 30 km of slopes for skiers and snowboarders cover various levels of difficulty, from easy, designed for learning, to very difficult, steep slopes. They are served by several cable cars and lifts, including Les Marécottes.

In summer, Salvan and its surroundings are great hiking areas. The picturesque Dailley gorges with waterfalls and footbridges hanging over the mountain stream are very famous. You can also follow the Marconi trail, which leads to places related to the life of a radio pioneer. Les Marécottes has an alpine zoo and a swimming pool surrounded by mountain landscapes.
