Maison Cailler is a chocolate museum created inside one of the oldest chocolate factories in the world. Visitors will see the historic production line here, will be able to taste hot chocolate in the local cafe and shop in the store with original sweets. Chocolate workshops for various age groups are also organized here.
The visit to the factory begins with a short multimedia presentation that presents the history of chocolate, how the properties of cocoa beans were discovered and when they were brought to Europe. Later, guests can explore all the nooks and crannies of the chocolate delicacies themselves.
Cailler is the world's first producer of chocolate in bars. Since the 1920s, it has been part of the Nestlé group, but also deals with independent production.
