Champéry is a holiday village in the Alps, situated in one of the world's largest ski regions, Champéry-Les Crosets / Portes du Soleil. It covers areas in Switzerland and France and has a total of approx. 650 km of ski slopes.

The village is overshadowed by Mont Blanc, Dents du Midi and the Croix de Culet Summit. Its origins date back to the Middle Ages and until the middle of the 19th century cattle breeding was dominant in the occupations of the inhabitants. Some of the last cow bell factories in Switzerland are located here. Despite the rapid development of tourism in the second half of the nineteenth century and from the mid-twentieth century, a lot of traditional buildings have been preserved here, which create the unique atmosphere of an alpine resort.

Champéry's biggest attraction is the local ski region on both sides of the border. There are a total of 12 ski stations, 650 km of slopes for skiers and snowboarders, including the famous Le Mur Suisse, considered one of the steepest in the world, 21 snow parks, hundreds of kilometers of cross-country skiing trails, as well as ski schools and training routes for children and adults. They are served by over 200 lifts and cableways, including the Champery - Les Crosets and Kolekja Crosets. The resort also has excellent apres-ski facilities.

In summer, Champéry is a good base for hiking and biking lovers. There are several hundred kilometers of hiking trails here, including the trail around Dents du Midi. There are also climbing and via ferrata routes and a large mountain biking park with 300 km of routes for advanced cyclists. The offer is completed by tennis courts, swimming pools and a horse riding center.
