The historic Old Town is located on 4 islands. It consists of cobbled streets and historic buildings mainly from the 13th century. There is also a brick Royal Castle, the Nobel Museum and the cathedral. Attention is drawn to historic tenement houses with colorful facades on Stortorget Square.
