Museum of the University of Warsaw

The Museum of the University of Warsaw is an academic museum gathering various souvenirs related to the history of the University. The Museum of the University of Warsaw has several thousand objects. The collection includes numerous sculptures, statues, photos and portraits, as well as seals, badges, banners, diplomas, indexes, medals, manuscripts, engravings and scientific instruments. The museum was founded in 1980. Its first seat was the Kazimierzowski Palace, then it was transferred to the Tyszkiewicz-Potocki Palace. It is considered one of the most beautiful classical buildings in Warsaw. The most interesting rooms inside the palace include, above all, the Ballroom decorated with reliefs depicting the Court of Paris and Zeus, and the Table Room with a beautiful fireplace.
