Polish Song Stars Avenue

The Avenue of Polish Songs is located on the market square in Opole, between the Town Hall and the eastern side of the square. There are several dozen stars that commemorate the singers on the boards of the Opole Amphitheater.

The avenue began to emerge in 2004. The first of the exposed stars belonged to Czesław Niemen. At present there are about 40 of them. They belong to the most prominent representatives of Polish postwar music. Every year, more panels are unveiled.

Another interesting fact is that in Opole there is also the second Avenue of Stars. On the street of Sempołowska you can see stamped hands of Polish artists of the stage.
