The castle pond is located in the former moat surrounding the castle. In 2013 it was transformed into a multimedia fountain. Evening shows take place in the rhythm of the most famous hits of Polish entertainment music.
The castle pond was built around 1930 when the princely castle was demolished. It was a place of rest, and in the winter there was an ice rink. In 1937, the German Figure Skating Championships were even held there. Next to the pond, there is an ice cream house built with an indoor ice rink. There is a restaurant in the wooden building.
In 2013 the pond was revitalized. The largest fountain in the city was built here. It included headlights, lasers and speakers. This allows for light and sound presentations. With the sounds of the music of the sky, fireworks illuminate the streams of water of different heights and shapes.
