The Polish Songs Museum in Opole is the only place in the country that documents the history of Polish music entertainment. Since 2016 its headquarters are located under the Amphitheater in Opole. For visitors there are exhibitions dedicated to Polish singers, awards, stage fashion, ways of recording sound. There is also a music wall with digital players. Visitors can also see photos documenting the times of the individual hits.
The Museum of Polish Song has existed since 2007, but it was not until 2016 that it moved to the newly built rooms under the Opole Amphitheater. It is a modern, multimedia museum, which fascinates visitors through the stages of development of Polish entertainment music.
On the music wall you can listen to the original recordings, next to the lenses are looking at the time when they were born. The next sections show how the manner of touring and recording changed, what costumes, props and instruments were used. You can also record your own version of the song in a special soundbox. The museum also has a huge archive with Polish recordings.
