Vouliagmeni is a seaside town on the outskirts of Athens and a popular resort. It is also famous for its thermal lake with a holiday and health resort.

The town was founded in ancient times and the temple of Apollo was located here. Its remains can be seen near Astir Beach. In later centuries, the town was primarily a fishing town and was the seat of craftsmen. As a leisure center, it began to develop in the second half of the 20th century.

The beaches of Vouliagmeni are sandy and well-developed. There are many hotels, restaurants and bars next to them. There is also a large sports center with swimming pools, a marina and a water equipment rental.

One of the most important attractions is the Vouliagmeni lake, the water of which has a temperature of 22-29 degrees Celsius. There is a year-round open spa center on its shores. There is a beach with sun lounger rental, recreational facilities, as well as walking paths in a small park.
