Temple of Olympian Zeus

Local name: Ναός του Ολυμπίου Διός

The ruins of one of the largest temples of Zeus. Its construction began in the VII century BC, and was only completed in Roman times. It consisted of 104 Corinthian columns. More than a dozen of them and the cornice connecting them have survived to this day.
