Sulz am Neckar is a municipality in the Black Forest, amidst mountains and forests, offering the possibility of active recreation in the fresh air. Its most important monument is the Glatt Water Castle.
Glatt is one of the settlements in the Sulz am Neckar commune. Although it is very small, it also attracts the most tourists in the entire area. All this is due to the Glatt Castle situated on the island. The castle museum allows you to trace its fate from the time of construction to the present day. It is also one of the oldest Renaissance castles in Germany.
The residence also houses a cultural center, the Aristocracy Museum with an armory, and the Farmers' Museum showing the lives of local villagers, and the Glatt Castle Gallery, which displays the works of artists associated with the art school located in nearby Bernstein.
The environs of Sulz am Neckar are picturesque and invite to walks and hikes. A popular destination is the Stockenberg Viewpoint, from which you can admire the panorama of the town.
