Aulendorf is a small health resort and holiday destination. There is also a castle with medieval roots and a picturesque park.

The town was founded in the Middle Ages and was associated with the Aulendorf Castle. Today, the building, rebuilt many times, bears traces of various historical eras and architectural styles. There is a museum in the castle that shows its history and presents the preserved elements of the old equipment.

A lot of historic tenement houses and the Church of St. Martin. Its interior was completely rebuilt in the Baroque period, and the entire city, due to its historic part, is located on the Upper Swabian Baroque Trail.

The biggest attraction in Aulendorf is the Schwaben thermal baths, which use local hot springs. It is a modern complex which, apart from swimming pools, also includes saunas, biological regeneration rooms, and a salt cave.
