Local name: Zeppelin Museum
Established in 1999, the facility is the largest airship museum in the world. The collection has, among others partially reconstructed the most famous airship in history - LZ 129 Hindenburg. The giant, nearly 250 m long and almost 50 m high, exploded on landing in 1937, killing 36 people.
